As huge fans of Squarespace, and having just finished our biggest project with the platform, we were extremely proud to be invited along to the London Meet Up last night.
There were 20+ people with a mix of Designers, Developers, Illustrators and Photographers, all with a passion for using Squarespace either for their own websites and portfolios or for their clients. The evening took place at The Princess of Shoreditch and was hosted by the lovely Rebecca Garcia and Brian Carroll who are over in the UK for Reasons To Be Creative as well as other Developer Evangelist duties.
It was awesome to meet different people with various skills and sizes, from freelancers to small / medium sized businesses all specialising in different sectors. We had the opportunity to talk through our own experiences with Squarespace as well as recent projects / case studies - there are some seriously cool things going on!
Once we'd polished off our Peanut Butter and M&M cheesecakes things got pretty serious and we had the opportunity to drill down into some of the burning questions we had for the Squarespace guys, particularly on the Developer side of things and the future plans for the platform.
Needless to say, the next 6-12 months are going to be very exciting for Squarespace and their users and we're extremely excited to be a part of it.
Anyway, I should get back to work!
